ABOUT & HOW TO PLAY
Swarmgrid
A game by Binary Business, Denmark.
A free browser tower defense where the towers are the maze. Every tower adds a weapon and changes the path the swarm must walk. Build a longer route to keep enemies under fire. Leave a way through: the game refuses placements that seal the path to your core.
Build. Draft. Survive.
Draft five tower families from a growing roster. Build between waves, collect augments and upgrade your towers into specialised weapons. Runners, armoured enemies, flyers and bosses test the maze as the waves grow stronger.
Runs are endless and seeded. The same seed, draft and decisions produce the same run. Play for a better result, or try a different approach.
How to play
- Mouse or touch: choose a tray chip, then a grid cell. If a placement preview appears, press PLACE to confirm. Select a tower to inspect, upgrade or sell it.
- Number keys: arm a drafted tower slot. Escape cancels placement.
- Enter / WAVE: start the next wave. Space / OVERDRIVE: trigger Overdrive when it is ready.
- Settings → Controls: see and change the keyboard bindings. These are the default keys; your saved bindings take precedence.
Yours to play
Free, with no account or purchases. Your progress stays in this browser. Once the game reports that it is ready offline, you can play without a connection. Landscape orientation gives the board room on phones and tablets.
